Peugeot retains a large manufacturing plant and Peugeot Museum there. It also sponsors the Sochaux football club, founded in 1928 by a member of the Peugeot family.

Peugeot uses the PSA Group diagnostic platform but with differing software from Citroen.

Peugeot Planet is the main interface software using a Lexia 3 interface. Some vehicles based on Fiat platforms also require a CAN bus module to adapt them to the Lexia interface.
